2015-07-15 Rena: No More Noob

The one thing about the Sara avatar, especially in her original outfit, is that everyone knows you are a newbie even without looking at your profile.

In venturing onto the on-life Second Life Marketplace, I discovered an offer that promised an avatar that was not a recognizable newbie.  And it offered a sexy walk.  Mmm, O.K.

This is the ZC No More Noob Shilo avatar, out of the box with the outfit she is wearing.  There is much I will change over time, but this was my avatar of choice, with modifications, that I would use for an extensive time.

2015-07-10 Thriving in Second Life

2015-07-10 Getting Ready for Dancing. With the help of a friend in the game, I start having an avatar and outfits that make me smile. I begin capturing them for a notebook so I could look them up, remembering what they are. Yes, there’s a built-in feature for that. I will figure that out eventually. Fussing over hair choices will continue for a while. I fuss over my name too.

This is a “standard” avatar.  At this point I don’t know about mesh and purchased avatars. Something called BOM will come later. I may have trashed too many desirable outfits before my latest avatar would be BOM-enabled, allowing me to salvage past standard outfits. We’ll see.

You will discern that I am time-traveling here, reconstructing the actual dates while I'm looking back from the future.
